Dogged Bosnian sociologist, Nermina, investigates the extraordinary life of Case 19, a former ISIS fighter from Bosnia taken to Syria by his father who was radicalized after fighting in the Bosnian war. Case 19 is about to become a father and is trying to break the cycle of trauma and violence that has haunted his family for generations, while at the same time he must navigate threats of revenge from people in his past.
